At the dinner table.

Eva, Etienne, and I:  "Addie!  Say brisé"

Addie:  "Bsay"

Eva, Etienne, and I:  "Addie!  Say hello"

Addie:  "Allo!"

Eva, Etienne, and I:  "Addie!  Say I love you!"

Silence.

Then, suddenly, Addie lets rip a roaring fart that rattles the windows and shakes dust from the ceiling.
